It's been a frustrating five days or so for Typepad, my blogging service. Also, for me and other Typepad customers who were taken offline by a nasty DDoS (distributed denial of service) hacker attack.
Actually the attacker jerks are worse than ordinary hackers, since apparently they made a ransom demand to Typepad which led to an FBI investigation.
I just noticed that my blog is back, so wanted to get an explanatory post up as soon as possible.
