I'm one of the disgruntled DISH network subscribers who just realized that the Rose Bowl is on ABC today, and our local affiliate (KATU) no longer is on DISH due to a ridiculous contract dispute.
After having done some quick Google research on how to see the Rose Bowl for free over the Internet, here's the best option I've come up with.
This site has a list of feeds around the world. I tried a few. Not wanting to download additional software I found that this feed opened even on my MacBook.
At the moment I'm seeing a live feed of the Capitol One Bowl, which precedes the Rose Bowl on ABC. Kind of fuzzy and a bit jerky on our 1.2 mbps DSL connection.
But sure better than nothing.

When I miss or don’t record Desperate Housewives, I go onto iTune and download it. You have to pay, but our download speed is so slow here that I can’t watch anything that streams.

Thanks so much for the live feed tip to watch the ABC games. I am so fedup with DISH and KATU I’m contiplating switching providers tomorrow. This is ridiculous!
